Home for the holidays is all about catching up with family and friends...and shopping! Two must-see Chicago boutiques, Sir & Madame and Sarca, just so happened to be owned by dear friends so visits not only include trying on the latest inventory but also some quality catch up time.

This time the department stores also didn't disappoint. Post-holiday sales means new key pieces for the wardrobe. Loving the Stuart Weitzman shoes from Saks. Biggest deal of all was the Burberry Brit Stadium Jacket from Neiman Marcus!
And if you still haven't seen Coach's upgraded classics, check them out...absolutely love the Legacy Penny bag in purple. It's electric but practical. Ultra-violet.
